About Us

The Destino Foundation was established in May 2009 by Marcel de Ruiter, Nicolette Groeneveld, Onno Hoogendijk and Marko Hoogendijk.

The underlying idea, with the help of our network, is to do something meaningful for children living in deprived conditions. We want to realise concrete results on behalf of the children such as small operations, purchase of spectacles, orthopaedic operations, medicines, school clothing etc. We are focusing on situations where the means from parents and institutions are unavailable resulting in children often being unable to develop both mentally and physically.
